The historic link between the City of London’s Livery Companies was further rekindled in 2010, when the Chairman of the SRB Technical Committee presented Certificates to 15 Apprentices on the successful conclusion of their three or five-year courses.

In 2011, a further 7 Apprentices were honoured at Merchant Taylors’ Hall, the trade’s spiritual home, during the Master Tailors’ Benevolent Association Summer Party.

Apprentices learn the traditional and noble arts of bespoke cutting and/or tailoring under instruction from skilled member firms’ Head Cutters, under the watchful eye of Phillip Parker and the guidance of external assessors, Su Thomas and Eric Musgrave.
