Savile Row Style

Savile Row Style is back and looking better then ever.

First launched in 1999, the only magazine to focus on Savile Row and the craft of bespoke tailoring was relaunched in a sharply redesigned format this month at a memorable party at the May Fair Hotel.

Addressing guests that included a large number of Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) members, editor Marie Scott stressed Savile Row Style’s support of our famous street and those that work on it: “In recent years, global brand names have taken the limelight in menswear. We aim to redress the balance, to focus attention again upon the excellence of bespoke tailoring. Together we can see that Savile Row receives the honour it is due as one of Britain’s treasures.”

Stewart Lee, Managing Director of the magazine’s publishers Publications UK, added: “We will continue to focus on bespoke tailoring, as well as a range of other luxury topics of interest to the sort of men who shop in Savile Row.”

A number of garments made by our own members were on display at the launch party and the first issue of the new magazine features pieces by Davies & Son and Richard Anderson and David Gandy wearing Henry Poole & co on the cover.

Savile Row Style will be published twice this year and four times next year. And the publication’s website is also in the process of being revamped and relaunched.

Complimentary copies of the magazine can be obtained from SRBA members Anderson & Sheppard, Chittleborough & Morgan, Dege & Skinner, Gieves & Hawkes, Henry Poole & Co, Huntsman and Welsh & Jefferies.
