Do look out for The English Gentleman at this week’s London Collections: Men, the hugely successful showcase for British men’s fashion that is now in its sixth season.
The bespoke tailors of Savile Row will be joining up with London’s leading shirt-makers, shoe-makers and hatters to present the modern face of classic British men’s style on Monday 12th January.
The English Gentleman will again take the form of a presentation of models and friends and aficionados of Savile Row dressed by our celebrated street's tailors and will serve as a stunning reminder that London has remained the inimitable world capital of men’s style for over two centuries. Originating on Savile Row, the tailoring will represent a powerful combination of beautiful materials and unequalled craftsmanship.
Previous The English Gentleman shows have taken place at Spencer House, Lord’s Cricket Ground and The Cabinet War Rooms (pictured, top to bottom), so expect an equally spectacular venue this January.
The presentation is produced by Sammy Aki and the teams at Anderson & Sheppard and H. Huntsman & Sons, and styled by Jo Levin, Creative Fashion Director of British GQ.
Savile Row Bespoke Association members Anderson & Sheppard, Chittleborough & Morgan, Gieves & Hawkes, Henry Poole & Co, H. Huntsman & Sons, Richard Anderson, Richard James and Welsh & Jefferies and associate member Lutwyche will be taking part.
The English Gentleman is produced with the generous support of The Woolmark Company.
Bespoke cocktails will be generously provided by Chivas Deluxe Whisky.
