The healthy future of bespoke Savile Row tailoring was underlined again at the Bespoke Tailors’ Benevolent Association summer party at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall on 30th June, where the 2017 Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) diplomas were awarded.
SRBA trainees demonstrate the skills they have learnt throughout their apprenticeships with SRBA member houses by presenting a final project submission which is assessed by a panel of Master tailors ahead of the awards ceremony.
This year, very well deserved SRBA diplomas were awarded by Phillip Parker, Senior Cutter and Vice Chairman of Henry Poole & Co (pictured, top), and Su Thomas, Manager of the SRBA, to the following:
Liberty Clayton (pictured, top) – Anderson & Sheppard
Emily Durham – Henry Poole & Co
Francesca Kerwin - Huntsman
Finnan Lane – Anderson & Sheppard
Kerstin McDove – Norton & Sons
Dian Jennifer Paez Molina – Huntsman
Sam Silvester – Kilgour
Congratulations from everyone at the SRBA go to all of them.
