Thursday 21st June was judgement day on Savile Row with the work of this year’s Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) apprentices being assessed.
Congratulations go to the following, who each passed and will be awarded their diplomas at the Bespoke Tailors’ Benevolent Association Summer Party at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall on Friday 6th July:
Henry Burge – Henry Poole & Co (coatmaker)
Emily Hayward – Anderson & Sheppard (coatmaker)
Hannah Moore – Henry Poole & Co (coatmaker)
Alistair Nimmo – Kathryn Sargent (cutter)
Vivian Wang – Gieves & Hawkes (coatmaker)

This year’s assessors were Patrick Murphy, the Head Cutter of Davies & Son, Joe Morgan, the Head Cutter and Co-Founder of Chittleborough & Morgan, Philip Parker, the Head Cutter of Henry Poole & Co, and the SRBA Director Su Thomas.
A total of seventy-seven trainees have now completed apprenticeships on Savile Row since the inception of the SRBA in 2004, something that has contributed hugely to safeguarding the future of our street as the world centre of bespoke tailoring.
