The Crisis pop-up store A Call To Garms returns to Savile Row this festive season, opening its doors on Monday 9th December.
Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) members and a wealth of top menswear labels and cloth merchants including (full list below) Anderson & Sheppard, Davies & Son, Grenfell, Jimmy Choo, JW Anderson, Richard James, Scabal, Sunspel, Troubadour, Villebrequin and Vitale Barberis Canonico will be donating some very special pieces and all proceeds will go to the homeless charity Crisis UK. Accessories will be priced from £10, clothing from £30 and suits from £100. New donations will hit the shop floor every day and many SRBA members, including Patrick Murphy of Davies & Son, have kindly volunteered to be on hand to help out and man the tills. Jon Sparkes, the CEO of Crisis, will also be visiting.
Last year’s A Call To Garms raised over £75,000 and the aim is to better that this time around.
In addition to the store there will also be a series of fund-raising events, including an Instagram TV shopping event hosted by Dermot O’Leary, performances by David Gray and DJs Fat Tony and Adamski, and an intriguing celebrity suitcase packing pack-off. The celebrated street artist Ben Eine will be graffitiing the ground floor of the premises and renowned photographer Tom Hunter will be taking portraits at a pop-up photoshoot during week two.
