Congratulations from everyone at the Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) go to Hannah Reeves and Wren Lane (pictured, top), this year’s successful Savile Row Bespoke diploma graduates.
Hannah and Wren, of SRBA members Henry Poole & Co and Anderson & Sheppard, respectively, were awarded their diplomas at the British Tailors’ Benevolent Association (BTBA) summer party at the spiritual home of bespoke tailoring, the Merchant Taylors’ Hall, on 17th June.
Last year’s SRBA diploma graduates, including Lisa Tang of Gieves & Hawkes and Jon Clifford Pickering of Dege & Skinner (pictured, middle), were also announced on the night, as 2021’s BTBA summer party and diploma presentation were sadly sidelined by the pandemic.
This year’s assessors were Su Thomas, Director of the SRBA, and Philip Parker, former Head Cutter at Henry Poole & Co (pictured bottom, with this year’s graduates), and Tristan Thorne of Dege & Skinner and Gordon Alsleben, former Head Cutter at Huntsman.
Eighty-nine young people have now learnt at the hands of true masters of tailoring and gained SRBA diplomas on Savile Row since the scheme was set up in 2004.
