We are delighted to announce that Su Thomas has joined the Savile Row Bespoke Association as its first Director.
Su has been deeply involved with training on Savile Row – not least in implementing and co-managing the highly successful SRBA sponsored pre-apprenticeship course at Newham College – and is well known to the members of the SRBA and many on the Row.
Her knowledge of bespoke tailoring began in the 1980s with her training at the Royal College of Art and she also has valuable experience across business and education.
“My role is to foster a greater feeling of inclusivity across all the members of the SRBA,” says Su. “I will be actively working to support them in the key areas of training, promotional events and the protection and development of the art of bespoke tailoring on Savile Row.”
