Gareth Crowe
Our deepest condolences go to the family and friends of Gareth Crowe, who sadly passed away last week.
Gareth was a textile agent par excellence and a much-loved presence on Savile Row.
His career in the tailoring trade started 55 years ago at the age of 16 in a tailor’s shop in Cork Street where his duties were trimming, undercutting and striking out. From there he went on to manage the tailoring department at Gieves & Hawkes (pictured, right) and work at Turnbull & Asser, Scabal and Hunters of Brora. For the last 16 years he represented Loro Piana in the UK.
Gareth’s great knowledge, enthusiasm and ever-cheerful disposition will be much missed.
