A stunning selection of the work of the members of the Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) can now be seen on the new The English Gentleman website, which was launched this week.
Produced by SRBA member Anderson & Sheppard in association with The Woolmark Company, The English Gentleman comprised a series of four remarkable events that showcased the world-renowned craftsmanship of the tailors of Savile Row and the gentlemen’s requisites houses of neighbouring St James’s.
The presentations proved to be internationally-acclaimed highlights of London Men’s Fashion Week, taking place between January 2012 and January 2015 at four historic London venues: Spencer House (pictured, top), Lord’s (pictured, second), The Cabinet War Rooms (pictured, third) and Apsley House (pictured, bottom).
Styled by Jo Levin, the former creative fashion director of British GQ, each of the bespoke collections of garments cleverly took inspiration from its quintessentially British venue and was designed to demonstrate not only the wonderful workmanship that is synonymous with Savile Row and St James’s, but also the timeless appeal of British menswear and style.
