We are delighted to announce that Mark Henderson (pictured) has been reappointed as the new Chair of the Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA). This is the second time Mark has assumed the position, having acted as our founding Chair.
Mark is currently the Royal Warrant Holder and an advisor to SRBA member Gieves & Hawkes, where he served as CEO from 1996 to 2009, and Chair from 2012 to 2020. He is also a skills advisor to the Royal Warrant Holders Association charity QEST, where he has previously acted as Chair and a trustee.
Mark comments: “We founded Savile Row Bespoke 20 years ago, as a group of companies with the aim of protecting and promoting the art of handcrafted tailoring on Savile Row; since then we have trained well over 100 apprentices and seen the good-will and reputation of the Row flourish. The support of our customers, the media, The Pollen Estate, Westminster Council and all those we work with has been truly heartening. I believe we can be good for centuries to come - why not?”
Everyone at the SRBA would also like to thank our previous Chair Anda Rowland for her sterling stewardship.
