Where would we be without it?

Wool Month - the annual celebration of what is a truly indispensable commodity for the members of the Savile Row Bespoke Association (SRBA) – gets under way this week.

A special gallery space has been set up just around the corner from Savile Row at 30 Old Burlington Street, which features key wool apparel and interior products, with a spotlight on craftsmanship, innovative wool trends and environmental awareness.

An initiative of the Campaign for Wool, Wool Month will show how what is a natural and 100% biodegradable and regenerative fibre can play a crucial role in helping to reduce the alarming number of synthetic fibres being put into landfill throughout the world. Another key message relates to the thermoregulation benefits of wool and how, in a world of fast-shifting temperatures and rising energy costs, it can keep us warm when it’s cold, and cool come the warmer weather.
